Los Hermanos Díez, Raúl Díez 1970, y Daniel Díez 1971, llevan años vinculados a la producción de animación, su búsqueda artística en el diseño y en la dirección han dado con un estilo propio y fructífero. Originalmente y desde Valencia, son los precursores junto Pablo Llorens de un movimiento por la animación en stop-motion, en 1986. Su búsqueda de un estilo propio no les impide trabajar además en servicios para largometrajes, series y publicidad, dando de hecho a la publicidad personajes tan legendarios y transgresores cómo el Benito de Cuétara, lo que les valió el gran premio de publicidad Premio Eficacia Oro Gran Consumo 2005. Su perfil cinematográfico, les ha permitido defender elementos claves cómo la creación de personajes, dotar de peso y personalidad a los protagonistas, un estilo propio y profundo para la interpretación actoral, el desarrollo de los concept arts, y narrar haciendo cine. Su 3D, no nace de lo tecnológico, sino de lo artesanal, dando a veces la sensación física del decorado o de la presencia real de los elementos, con un toque retro o moderno clasicista. Con gran trabajo en el soundtrack, marcan un estilo original y cuidado, firma Pasozebra. Su obra más evolucionada, más ambiciosa y manteniendo un tempo físico atípico es El Ermitaño, donde confluye toda la experiencia adquirida, que junto a la gran experiencia en cine de ficción del productor ejecutivo Olmo Figueredo de La Claqueta ofrecen un producto internacional.

The Brothers Díez, Raúl Díez 1970, and Daniel Díez 1971, have been linked to the production of animation for years, their artistic quest in design and direction have given their own and fruitful style. Daniel Díez, was born in Madrid, Spain, 1971. He develops his activity in the city of Valencia, Spain. He studies at the University of Fine Arts, 1994. Erasmus studentship at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia in 1994. He is a specialist in design of sets and characters for Stop Motion and 3D Infographic with international awards. In 1997 he founded Pasozebra Company with his brother Raúl Díez. In 1999 he develops chapters for Sesam Street (CTW).
